An open-back shelving unit for books, records, baskets and plants. Because there is no back panel, light passes through, which makes it a good room divider in a studio apartment as well as a regular bookcase against a wall.

  • Shelf spacing: about 11 in, tall enough for most hardcovers and vinyl records

The uprights, shelves and cross rails are solid wood joined with screws and wooden dowels, which keeps the unit square without a back. Leveling feet under each corner let you correct for an uneven floor. When it stands against a wall, attach the included anti-tip strap.

Assembly needs a Phillips screwdriver and about half an hour; two people make it easier. To care for it, dust regularly and wipe up spills quickly. Rotate items now and then if one side gets strong sun.

Returns & warranty

Cancel free within 24 hours of ordering. After that, until the piece ships, a 15% cancellation fee applies.

Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, in unused condition. Change-of-mind returns carry a 15% restocking fee.

If it arrives damaged, email us photos within 7 days of delivery.

Warranty: 1 year from delivery, covering defects in materials and workmanship.
