About Us
Kosagu sells solid wood furniture and wall pieces for everyday rooms: coffee and side tables, floating shelves and shelving units, wood wall panels, desks and monitor stands. Nothing is pulled from a warehouse shelf. Each item is cut, sanded and finished after someone orders it.
The people behind Kosagu
We are a small online team. Our job is to keep the catalog accurate, look over every order before it goes into production, answer your emails and follow each shipment until it is delivered. We do not run a showroom, so everything you need to decide (dimensions, wood, finish, timelines) should be on the product page or in our policies. If it is not, ask us.
Where we work from
The Kosagu team is based in Vietnam. Orders, customer emails and production follow-up are all handled from there, during the support hours listed at the bottom of this page.
Why a solid wood store
A lot of low-cost furniture is particleboard with a printed wood-look surface. It looks fine at first, but it doesn’t hold up well to moisture, scratches or being moved from one apartment to the next. We wanted to offer the other option: real wood all the way through, in simple shapes, at sizes that fit ordinary homes. That is the whole idea behind the store.
What we are aiming for
Our mission is to make buying a built-to-order wood piece feel predictable. In practice that means giving honest lead times before checkout, describing the wood as it really is (grain, color shifts and knots included), packing heavy items so they survive the trip, and sorting out problems quickly when they happen.
How the business works
Kosagu runs on a made-to-order model. We keep no finished inventory. Once you pay, your piece is scheduled with a workshop and built from Solid Wood. The usual timeline:
- Building and finishing: 7–10 business days
- Transit once it leaves the workshop: about 5 business days
- Delivery to US addresses: free on every order
Building to order is why we can offer several sizes and finishes without stacking up unsold furniture. It is also why a piece can’t ship the same day. Full details are in our Shipping Policy, Return and Refund Policy and Warranty.
Who builds the furniture
The woodworking is done by partner woodworking workshops. They select and mill the boards, join and sand each piece, apply the finish and crate or box it for shipping. Kosagu handles the parts you see: the product listings, order checks, customer support and anything that comes up after delivery.
