Terms of Service
These terms apply whenever you use kosagu.com or buy from Kosagu. Placing an order means you accept them, along with the policies linked on this page. If you don’t agree, please don’t use the site.
Who can order
You must be at least 18, or the age of majority where you live, to place an order. The details you give us at checkout need to be accurate and complete, and they need to be your own or used with permission.
Products and descriptions
Our tables, shelves, wall pieces and desks are made of Solid Wood and built to order. Wood is a natural material: grain, knots and tone differ from board to board, and the color on your screen depends on its settings. Two pieces from the same listing will not be identical, and yours may look slightly different from the product photos. Listed dimensions are nominal, and small differences from hand finishing are normal.
Prices and payment
Prices are in US dollars and can change without notice. A price change never affects an order you have already paid for. Payment is taken at checkout through Stripe, which accepts Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, Apple Pay and Google Pay. We may decline or cancel an order that looks fraudulent, or one with a clear pricing or listing mistake; if that happens, any amount you paid is returned in full.
Order acceptance
Your confirmation email shows we received the order. It becomes a binding sale once your payment is confirmed and the order is scheduled for production.
Production, shipping and returns
Building takes 7–10 business days and transit about 5 business days. Shipping is free on every US order; international costs depend on the destination. You can cancel without charge in the 24-hour window after ordering, and with a 15% fee after that until the piece ships. Returns are accepted within 30 days of delivery, with a 15% restocking fee when the return isn’t our fault. Damage in transit must be reported within 7 days of delivery. Warranty
Pieces carry a 1 year warranty against defects in materials and workmanship, as explained on our Warranty page.
Safe use
Follow any assembly and mounting notes provided with your item. Wall shelves and wall panels must be fixed with hardware suited to your wall, and shelves should not be loaded beyond any limit given on the product page. Kosagu is not responsible for damage or injury caused by incorrect installation, overloading or using a piece for something it wasn’t designed for.

Text, photos and design on kosagu.com belong to Kosagu or are used with permission. Please don’t copy or reuse them commercially without written consent. See our Copyright and DMCA pages.
Things you may not do
Do not use the site for anything unlawful, try to break into or disrupt it, scrape it in bulk, or place orders using someone else’s payment details without their consent.
Limit of liability
As far as the law allows, Kosagu’s total liability for any claim connected to an order is limited to the amount you paid for that order. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses. Nothing in these terms removes rights you have under consumer protection law that cannot be waived.
Changes
We may revise these terms from time to time. The terms in effect when you place an order are the ones that apply to that order.
