Details
A floating shelf looks like a single board coming straight out of the wall. Ours is a solid wood board, 6 in deep and 1.5 in thick, bored along the back edge to slide over a steel bracket that screws into the wall and stays out of sight.
- Length: 24 in or 36 in
- Depth: 6 in; thickness: 1.5 in
- Pack: Single shelf, Set of 2 or Set of 3 (same length in each set)
- Included: bracket and screws for each shelf
Mounting
Find the studs with a stud finder and screw the bracket into at least two of them; for spots without studs, use heavy-duty drywall anchors rated for shelving. Level the bracket, then slide the shelf on. It works well above a desk, in a bathroom for towels, or stacked in a column for small plants.
Care
Dust with a dry cloth. In a bathroom, wipe off water drops so they do not sit on the wood.
Cut to order and shipped in 7–10 days, then about 5 days to arrive in the US.
