Details
A desk for a corner, not a whole room. It is shallow enough to fit under a window or in a bedroom alcove, yet the top has room for a laptop, a lamp and a notebook. One wide, shallow drawer under the top holds the laptop charger and papers at the end of the day.
- Standard: 40 in wide x 20 in deep
- Wide: 48 in wide x 22 in deep
- Height: 30 in, the usual seated desk height
- Knee clearance: about 25 in under the drawer
The top, legs, apron and drawer front are solid wood. Slightly tapered legs keep the desk looking light. A clear finish protects the top from pen marks and mugs; use a desk pad if you write with a lot of pressure.
The legs attach with bolts into corner blocks, which takes about fifteen minutes with the included hex key. Check the bolts after the first few weeks and tighten if needed.
Each desk is built to order in 7–10 days. Shipping to US addresses takes about 5 days after that.
